The concept that there can be hope after pain and loss is one of the things that makes this miniature such a powerful image in the sandtray.  

I've personally had this miniature since I started my sandtray career and it still looks just as good as it did on day 1! 

Younger clients use this because of being a 'fire dragon' and older clients use it as more of a metaphor for themselves or hope for the future.
